Art, Sport and Play on the English Riviera 2012
In Olympic year the Creative Torbay team behind the annual Art on the English Riviera Exhibition which has featured artists such as Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley will present a unique exhibition entitled Art,Sport and Play on the English Rivera 2012 at Cockington Court Craft Centre and Country Park.

Four distinct strands:
• We have been lucky enough to have secured a loan agreement with USA Museum Art of the Olympians who display work by ex-Olympic athletes.
• The Grounds of the country park and craft centre will be animated with 50 FREE sports/fitness/arts interventions an outdoor gym which will host daily exercise or art classes Zumba, cheerleading parent and toddle etc)
• We are running a ‘secret postcard’ exhibition whereby Team GB athletes; amazing artists and top sportspeople and celebrities will draw/paint decorate a small postcard. These will then be displayed anonymously; the public will then be able to purchase them – still without knowing who did what. This part of the exhibition is based upon the hugely successful Royal College of Art annual secret artist postcard competition.
• An exhibition from the Torbay’s 1948 archive: documenting our hosting of the Olympic sailing in 1948.
We are looking for up to 8 sponsors for this exhibition.
We are looking for only £800 from each sponsor.
For this the 8 will recieve:
• One of the Art of the Olympians pictures of your choice (first choice to first sign ups) The pictures retail value is £400
• Your company logo on all marketing materials and interpretation inside the exhibition (30k leaflets and posters!)
As if this wasnt enough the 8 companies will be entered in a draw to find one headline sponsor of the exhibition (drawn at Cockington on June 4th 2012) this company will then be featured above the exhibition title on all publicity as in….
