An opportunity for an EXPERIENCED THEATRE TECHNICIAN

CONTRACT: FULL TIME PERMANENT (40 HOURS P.W.)

SALARY: £17,000 p.a.

We seek a Technician experienced in working in the performing arts to assist in delivering technical services at the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre. In this role, you will provide technical know-how, help maintain technical equipment, act as a cinema projectionist, sound and lighting operator and act as Duty Technician when required. Knowledgeable in health and safety best practice and current legislation, you will report to the Technical Manager and, when holding responsibility as Duty Technician, manage volunteer staff.

The Brewhouse has a young, dynamic team. The management is fleet of foot, the environment fast-paced. You will need to demonstrate a flexible, creative can-do attitude coupled with the ability to remain calm and manage effectively under pressure. Computer literate, you will also be a good communicator with the ability to supervise and support volunteers.
