Engagement Officer, Theatre Royal Plymouth

The Funky Llama Engagement Officer works closely with the Engagement Manager to administrate and develop the Funky Llama project, the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s programme that works with adults with different abilities, funded by the Big Lottery.

The Funky Llama Engagement Officer plays a key role in the setting up and management of all project activities, including liaising with relevant communities, referral and partner organisations, monitoring project activities to ensure success in achieving project outcomes, as well as overseeing the pastoral care of participants.

The Funky Llama Engagement Officer is responsible for the recruitment and management of all project volunteers and supports with the supervision of other project staff as required. They attend relevant meetings, conferences and events representing the Theatre and the Funky Llama project.

The Funky Llama Engagement Officer is responsible for co-ordinating and administrating Driving Force, the Funky Llamasteering group.

The Funky Llama Engagement Officer will ensure compliance with all company policies, particularly Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults

Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau screening is essential for this post.
