Director of the Theatres Trust

TrustSalary: negotiable, dependent on experience.

The Theatres Trust, the national advisory public body for theatres, seeks a dynamic, energetic and proactive individual as its new Director to lead and champion the work of the organisation and deliver its ambitious plans for the future. The candidate will be leading the development and delivery of the Trust's strategy to ensure that the Trust fulfils its potential. The Trust’s principal activities are: campaigning, expert advice and planning, grants and funding, and discovery.

Candidates will have the ability to work through influence and persuasion, enabling the Trust's external voice to be expressed loudly and clearly, and will have a background in any one of the following sectors: theatre, cultural/arts, architecture/building, planning and heritage, with a demonstrable knowledge/experience of at least two of the other sectors.
