Yorkshire Festival 2016

On 16th June, Yorkshire Festival in association with Welcome to Yorkshire will present three weeks of exciting and unusual events, including theatre, dance, outdoor events and much much more.

Events will be happening across the County during what promises to be a fantastic awe inspiring, funny and provocative three weeks. In Kirklees the historic Batley Frontier will host The Raunch an exciting new piece of Ariel circus cabaret direct from London’s Southbank. This is a night of not to be missed entertainment, starring legendary cabaret performer Empress Stah.

Lawrence Batley Theatre will present a thrilling new production pushing the boundaries of music theatre, written, directed and co-composed by award winning sound artist and theatre maker, Melanie Wilson, Opera for the Unknown Woman is a beautiful and thought provoking piece.

As always the Holmfirth Festival will provide ten days of entertainment for all and Yorkshire Festival will be there with the inspirational spectacle that is Random Acts of Kindness presented by Them Two Dance.
