WORLD BHANGRA DAY 2018
The World Bhangra Council proudly presents ‘WORLD BHANGRA DAY 2018’
On the 13th April 2018, Bhangra lovers from all corners of the Earth will come together for World Bhangra Day, a grass-roots celebration of Bhangra on a global scale.
This event will showcase an international celebration of the Art form of Bhangra through music and dance. There will be live-links of Bhangra performances taking place in unison in countries around the world including the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Spain, Dubai, India, Japan, Australia and many more.
On this day at exactly 2pm (GMT), Bhangra Teams and passionate individuals around the world will perform the ‘World Bhangra Day’ dance routine choreographed by the internationally acclaimed artist Pammi Bai. This global performance will be shared through ‘live-links’ and social media.
You can take part in the World Bhangra Celebrations in the following ways,
• You can learn this routine by searching ‘World Bhangra Day 2018’ in YouTube and then perform on the day wherever you are and join us through our Google Hangout.
• Nominate three of your friends or favourite bhangra teams to do the same.
•You can learn this routine and then pre-record your performance and send it to ‘wbd.info@yahoo.com’ we will share these through our WBD video compilation.
• Or just checkout the festivities through Facebook or Google Hangout and tweet - #WorldBhangraDay at exactly 2PM (GMT- UK time) on the 13th April 2018.
