Without Walls: Open call 2023: Touring Network Partnership
The Without Walls Consortium is inviting festivals and organisations to apply for their Touring Network Partnership (TNP).
From large-scale festivals and pop-up events to cultural celebrations such as carnivals and Melas, they’re looking to welcome a variety of outdoor events into their network. As a partner, you’ll receive a range of support and expertise from the Consortium and their management team.
They especially encourage applications from Deaf, Disabled and Black, Asian and ethnically diverse-led organisations, which are currently underrepresented in the network.
The aim of the TNP is to bring leading UK outdoor art to public spaces across England, with a focus on reaching regions with low levels of cultural engagement. Partners will receive a subsidy to present touring shows from the Without Walls catalogue – as well as support to deliver strategic audience engagement initiatives. Examples of these activities have included family activity days, participatory performances and workshops in schools, and opportunities for young people to shadow festival programmers.
The TNP is open to festivals, local councils, venues and arts organisations delivering activity in areas of low levels of audience attendance and participation (including, but not limited to, Arts Council England and DCMS’ Levelling Up for Culture Places). Membership lasts from January 2023 to March 2026.
To apply, download an Expression of Interest form from their website below and submit the completed version to Emily Oldroyd at emily@xtrax.org.uk
Deadline to apply: Thursday 22 September 2022, 5 pm
