Balbir Singh Dance Company (BSDC) are seeking a Trainee Company Manager to gain experience and support the company's plans over the coming months. Work will involve developing Company Manager role skills on such things as:

• Dance Across the North (Strategic Touring Funding) with the delivery of over 20 performances
• New work premiering at the Southbank
• Festival performances
• Conference performances
• Supporting the devising and creation of new work
• Liaising with a variety of artists, venues, press,designers and technical staff
• Strategic development
• Touring of work in various venue settingswith a hands on approach
• Development of print material and social media campaigns
• Budgets and finance
• Funding applications
• Other relevant Company Manager roles and tasks

An ideal opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone with strong transferable skills or a step up the career ladder gaining invaluable experience.

Responsible to: Artistic Director
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: 9 months in the first instance
Location: Preferably Yorkshire/Leeds based
Salary: £14,000 - £15,000 pro rata
