Queen's Platinum Jubilee: Beacon Lighting at Castle Hill

Kirklees Council will be marking the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a beacon lighting ceremony at Castle Hill on Thursday 2nd June at Castle Hill. The beacon will be lit by the Mayor of Kirklees.

The event commences at 21:15 with some beautiful musical performances including:

Honley Ladies Choir and Almondbury Choir performing 'A song for the Commonwealth'

Piper playing "Diu Regnare"

Bugle call 'Majesty'

Cleckheaton Community Choir

Beacon lighting
