Performing Arts Teacher for 4-11 year olds, Theatretrain Halifax

Theatretrain Halifax are currently seeking a Performing Arts Teacher to work with children ages 4-11 years on Saturday mornings. You would be responsible for planning and teaching all aspects of performing arts following the Theatretrain way.

The position is for 2 hours 9.30- 11.30am on a Saturday morning with the possibility of extra teaching hours for the right candidate up to 12:30pm.

The candidate would be required to:

- Work as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training for young people

- Have excellent organisation skills

- Have excellent communication skills

- Have a great enthusiasm for teaching, the Performing Arts and energy/stamina for working with young children

- Have some experience of teaching young children in all 3 disciplines.

- Be flexible and available for extra sessions closer to show time.

Theatretrain are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All potential teachers are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory “Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check”.
