New Government Restrictions
The Government has recently enforced new lock down restrictions for areas in North England, including Kirklees. The following guidance is for those running businesses in the area.
You are still able to deliver workshops with multiples of people, however please ensure that you strictly limit the capacity/numbers to the size of your unit (in line with social distancing regulations).
As you will read, the new restrictions say that the public should not:
Socialise with people you do not live with in other indoor public venues – such as pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, places of worship, community centers, leisure and entertainment venues, or visitor attractions. You may attend these venues with people you live with (or are in a support bubble with), but should avoid interaction with others.
However it also says that: If you run such a business, you should take steps to ensure people do not interact with people they do not live with, in line with COVID-19 Secure guidance.
Some people have queried the term business: Even if you are not financially trading we would suggest that you consider yourselves in this category as you are still delivering a service and engaging with the public.
You can read the full restrictions below.
