National Coordinator, AA2A

Description: The role will be to support the delivery of AA2A's business plan, including the overseeing of artists’ residency schemes in host universities, which will involve regular phoning and emailing of staff and artists. Also management of projects, including the AA2A artists 'Engage' membership group; artists’ access to museum collections and AA2A’s employability programme, which focuses on self-employment. As part of a team of three people, you would be required to work from home on a Mac (computer provided).

Employer: AA2A Limited is a social enterprise company and an Arts Council England, NPO and Sector Support Organisation with a funding agreement which is guaranteed to run until at least April 2023 and an expectation that this will continue for a further three years.

Location: Homeworking and occasional visits from employer’s home office in Sheffield (once every quarter if required)

Wages / hours: Core hours are 14 hours a week paid at £13.00 an hour. This includes statutory leave entitlement. An additional 7 hours a week may be available (payable at the same rate) by negotiation until Nov 2022. The hours will normally be worked over a minimum of three days each week. At least two of the days to be non-consecutive. Hours must be worked mainly between 9am - 5pm. A regular work pattern will be agreed but this is negotiable and may be subject to alteration if agreeable by both parties. There may be an occasional requirement to work more hours at busy times and less when quiet

Duration: Permanent with a 9 month probationary period.
