National Citizen Service, Flexible roles for Freelance Creative

The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government-funded programme that brings together 15 – 17 year olds from a diverse range of backgrounds to make a difference in their community. Young people get the chance to meet new people, make life-long friends and gain new skills for their CV.

The Challenge is the largest provider of the programme and will see over 42,000 young people go through the programme this year. As the programme grows, so does the number of seasonal staff required to lead and mentor them.

This Autumn they have a mix of seasonal roles all taking place during school half-term and term-time. The roles are suitable for students looking for temporary jobs, teachers wanting to top up their salary and creatives who are looking to earn some extra money whilst gaining invaluable experience facilitating skills sessions with young people.
