Lloyds Bank Foundation Invest and Enable Funding Programmes

The Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales has two grants programmes Invest and Enable.

Invest
Invest grants provide longer term core or direct delivery funding for eligible charities that are delivering clear outcomes as a result of their work. These grants are from £10,000 up to a maximum of £25,000 per year for two or three years, with the opportunity for continuation funding for a further period – up to six years in total.

Deadline for Invest
Open for initial application: Monday 22 May - Friday 16 June
Assessment visit period for charities through to stage 2: 14 August - 27 September
Notification of application outcomes: w/c 5 December

Enable
Enable grants provide a great opportunity to strengthen eligible charities so they can deliver more effectively, and are awarded to eligible charities that have identified clear development areas. Enable grants are up to a total of £15,000 over one or two years, and can reinvigorate charities through funding organisational improvements, development of areas such as leadership and governance, improved systems and demonstrating outcomes. These developments put charities in a stronger position to better deliver services and attract funding.

Enable is not a small grants programme and funds work to support identified development needs. Enable grant cannot fund core costs/existing running costs. The costs of the work must be additional to those you would be incurring anyway.

Applications for Enable grants are accepted on an ongoing basis.
