Latest update on Queensgate Market mural

Artist Kasia Breska has been hard at work completing the back wall of the Event Space in Queensgate Market. Why not pop in and take a look - she'll be happy to have a chat about the work.

Kasia will also be taking part in the 4th World Congress of Psychogeography in Huddersfield on 7 September (the Congress is on 7 & 8 September http://4wcop.org) and will be talking about her work as a muralist and how it is rooted in the site specific research of a place.

The project is part of the Temporary Contemporary initiative which places contemporary art within vacant spaces within Queensgate Market. and is a partnership between the traders at Queensgate Market, Kirklees Council Markets and Creative Economy Teams and the School of Art, Design and Architecture, University of Huddersfield.
