Kirklees individuals & organisations receive Arts Council awards

In response to the Covid-19 crisis the Arts Council announced in late March that its number one priority would be to provide urgent support to people working in the cultural sector and to England’s arts, museums and libraries. The Emergency Response Fund was set up for individuals, organisations and National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs).

The awards for the first 2 rounds have been announced with individual artists and arts organisations based in Kirklees receiving £506,309. £426,061 was awarded to organisations who applied and £80,248 to individuals

The Arts Council will be publishing awards from their third Emergency Response Fund, for NPOs and Lead Creative People & Places Organisations in July.
