Creatives CDP: What do we mean by wellbeing?

Defining, strengthening & sharing what it means to ‘be well’

We all know that wellbeing is a major issue right now; not only for children & young people, but all of us! But what exactly do we mean by ‘wellbeing’? All of us have a slightly different interpretation of what it is, but far from being a single competence or characteristic, there are various attributes to wellbeing that we need to understand more deeply, especially as we respond to the wellbeing needs of young people and the impact & uncertainty presented by Covid-19.

This invaluable session articulates the key components of ‘wellbeing’. Jo Stockdale from Well Within Reach will help to enable you to:

Nurture young people’s social & emotional growth in a meaningful way.

Communicate the impact of your practice with more power & authority than merely ‘supporting wellbeing’.

Suitable for: Artists and creatives in the Arts and Culture sector working in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

About the Facilitator

Jo Stockdale is Well Within Reach‘s founder and lead trainer has a background in the creative sector and the journey into neuroscience and ‘person centred development’ began there around 13 years. She now specialises in training all kinds of people about brain development, social and emotional competence and wellbeing issues such as resilience and self-esteem.

Please note, we charge a fully refundable deposit to encourage attendance. Refunds will be sent to attendees within 36 hours of the event/course end date. If you are unable to attend, please let us know at least 2 days before the event/course start date. Those who fail to cancel their ticket or attend will forfeit their deposit.
