Help Leeds City Region inspire young people - futuregoals video

Leeds City Region are looking for help to inspire young people to make decisions about future jobs and career opportunities within Leeds City Region, which includes the following districts: Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Kirklees, Calderdale, Craven, Selby, York, Barnsley and Harrogate.

The #futuregoals campaign raises awareness of Leeds City Region’s skills shortages and provides support and resources to guide young people and their influencers (parents, carers, teachers and other trusted peers and adults) to help them gain the right skills that local employers need.

Why Leeds City Region need your help?
Leeds City Region would like your help in creating inspiring short (60 second) videos that describe your experience of work within the Creative Industries Sector. You may be a school leaver, apprentice, senior manager, business owner or a sixth form, college or university student on work experience. Whatever your story we would like to hear it.

Bring your career journey to life and help us to inspire the City Region’s young people in gaining the right skills ready to enter employment in creative roles.
These videos will become part of the #futuregoals campaign and form part of an inspirational Creative Industries Toolkit. This will be an all-encompassing guide for young people, parents/carers and teachers who want to learn more about the creative industries; highlighting vast amount of different jobs within the sector. The toolkit will include lots of resources and activities for young people, to help guide them through careers decisions within the creative world.
