General Manager, South Asian Arts uk
South Asian Arts-uk (SAA-uk) is an innovative organisation based in Leeds, established in 1997. We are renowned for excellence and pushing boundaries in how traditional and contemporary South Asian music and dance is performed.
What is the job?
The General Manager post has lead responsibility for operational management;
This includes the delivery of the artistic programme and compliance;
The successful candidate is responsible for the operational aspects of SAA-uk and are expected to work within the legal, financial, artistic and charitable aims and requirements of the charity.

The candidate must have strong programme and project management skills and experience;
The candidate must have a strong attention to detail and always meeting high standards;

The candidate must have an enthusiasm and strong desire to promote diverse Arts & Culture;
The candidate must be confident using IT and have an equally confident telephone manner;
The candidate must be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks;
The candidate must have a clear commitment to providing excellent customer service and enjoy working in a lively, professional environment;
The successful candidate will be highly ethical (particularly in equality, confidentiality and professional due care), be highly organised and enjoy organising others.
Location: SAA-uk office, Mabgate, Leeds
£26-£30K Pro Rata plus Company Pension and Training
Closing Date: Tuesday 23rd Apr 2019
