Responsible to: Director (Projects and Building)
Responsible for: Project Coordinators
Contract: Fixed term to 31 December 2016 with an immediate start
Working hours: 14 hours per week, to be worked over 2 to 3 days
Salary: £24,615 per annum, pro rata based on 35 hour week

Artworks Creative Communities have been delivering innovative projects that use creativity as a force for change since 1998. We use creative activity to improve wellbeing, concentrating on those who are least heard and most disadvantaged.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator for a 6-month period to support with the development of project proposals and income generation to support our participatory arts activities.

Key Functions of the Role:
• Take a coordinated approach to networking and developing new client contacts in order to generate projects and income
• Actively represent and promote Artworks Creative Communities at a strategic level both within and without the Arts sector
• Coordinate fundraising with responsibility for fundraising strategy
• Maintain income tracking systems
• Actively seek out, develop and submit funding bids, contract commissions and proposals for project delivery
• Calculate and negotiate prices for commissioned and project work
• Generate income for the organisation through social enterprise offerings
• Oversee marketing and communications activity
• Oversee activity within the venue with the aim of increasing earned income
• Lead on personal/professional specialism subject area/s, preferably within the health and care sector
• Maintain an awareness of current arts practice
• Quality check project proposals
