Funding for British Charities to Support Local Projects

The funding is for charities with projects that take a practical and creative approach to fundamental issues such as neighbourhood improvements, local problem-solving, economic development, youth development, education and cultural enrichment, care of the elderly or infirm, help for the disadvantaged or disabled, and environmental conservation.

The grants will help with specific items of equipment or materials to support projects/activities that meet every day needs.
While preference will be given to ideas which create a tangible and durable benefit, consideration will be given to single events, performances or other projects of limited duration that otherwise meet the criteria.

Although no specific grant limits have been indicated, grants tend to range from around £1000 to £9000.
