Freelance Dance Practitioners, ROAR

ROAR in Rotherham are recruiting two freelance dance practitioners to work with the newly formed Company dance company.

The Company is initially working with Sense, AgeUK and Life-Act to develop the company identity and choreographic sensibility through the creation of new work. They are looking for dance practitioners who are experienced in, or excited to start, working with older people and adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.

Dance style and training is completely open but we are looking for practitioners who can facilitate a style and choreographic language to emerge from the company members.

Applicants must be confident in capturing and sharing movement sequences creatively using digital tech.

Initially the hourly sessions will be once or twice a week for six months at a fee of £50 per hour.

Ignore the pro rata scale this is one - two hours per week.
