Finding a venue for creative groups - Voluntary Arts
Space is always at a premium and, for many voluntary arts groups, finding a venue to meet for rehearsals, workshops, performances or exhibitions is one of the most challenging tasks they face. Traditional community spaces are not always available, affordable or suitable. Sometimes a bit of thinking outside the box is required!
This Voluntary Arts Briefing helps groups to consider what they need and who they are trying to reach or involve in their activities. A range of different venues are suggested that could work for many types of creative groups from business premises to museums and libraries and from sports clubs to the great outdoors!
Read Voluntary Arts tips and share them with creative groups in your area who might be looking for new spaces - https://www.voluntaryarts.org/finding-a-venue-some-new-ideas
