Finance and HR Administrator, East Street Arts

East Street Arts has an exciting new opportunity to join their team! Dedicated to supporting artists and their collaborators, the charity provides: affordable spaces, resources, professional support and opportunities to empower artists to create and share work, engage with their peers and develop their audiences across the UK and beyond.

East Street Arts was founded in 1993 by two artists who were unable to find the essential support and infrastructure needed to nurture their own practice, and has since worked to secure better livelihoods for artists and their neighbours by addressing the issues of economic and commercial decline in towns and cities.

Purpose of the role:

The Finance and HR Administrator will work closely with the Financial Controller and Space and Places Lead to manage the Finance, Spaces and HR administration. The post will also provide admin support to the Artistic Director with recruitment and updating the HR policies. You’ll work across a broad range of responsibilities spanning finance, account management, record keeping, utilities and business rates.
