Development Fund for Broadcast, Games & Film

Organisations and individuals working in the broadcast, games and film industries have until the 27th July 2016 to apply for support from the Development Fund for Broadcast, Games and Film. This scheme funds early stage ideas for TV, radio, games and film projects inspired by biomedical science and its impact on our lives. Up to £10,000 per is available for projects that target audiences in the UK and Ireland. The project must have the potential to:

• Develop into a high-impact, well-researched proposal
• Lead to further funding and a broadcast or distribution platform
• Engage an audience in an innovative, entertaining and accessible way.

Funding can be used to:
• Research and write a script
• Create a treatment and/or teasers and sizzle reels
• Build game prototypes
• Brainstorm ideas with researchers at workshops.
