Deputy Stage Manager at Cast

Cast - Doncaster’s acclaimed performance venue - is seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Deputy Stage Manager.

SALARY £455.00 per week plus subsistence (where applicable)

Fixed Term Contract.

Commencing Monday 6th November 2017

Until Sunday 31st December 2017

Working on the production within a small stage management team, the Deputy Stage Manager will be expected to liase with the director and other members of the creative and production teams during the rehearsal process and throughout the run of the show. A Key role will be creating the ‘Book’ for the production, and ‘calling’ the show in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a DSM for a professional theatre production through rehearsals to the final performance.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Demonstrable interest in the arts.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent organisational skills including time management.
