Cultural Services Manager, Calderdale

Culture, arts and heritage are at the core of the future vision for Calderdale. In challenging times, Calderdale Council has worked with their partners in place, across the private, public and voluntary sector to deliver an outstanding culture and heritage offer.

This has been realised through their multi-award winning redevelopment of the Piece Hall and new Central Library, a thriving live music and creative scene, festivals and heritage experiences giving hope and ambition to residents and increasing their visitor economy.

They are now looking for an imaginative and creative leader who can help take them to the next level, deliver great cultural services and be an ambassador for Calderdale.

You will play a key role in realising their Vision 2024, harnessing what makes them enterprising, resilient, talented, and kind. And in particular you will seek to make them really distinctive, empowering and supporting our rich and varied cultural and heritage sector.

The ideal candidate will be able to passionately communicate their strategic approach to culture, demonstrate their ability to lead a team and work closely with partners in order to achieve shared ambitions.
