Cultural Development Manager - Wakefield Council

Wakefield Council are looking for a new Cultural Development Manager who can demonstrate that they have dynamism, energy and experience to help them to achieve their aspirations for culture.

Working with the Arts, Museums and Heritage Development Manager, the Cultural Development Manager will be responsible for managing our Cultural Investment Programme and contributing towards the delivery of our strategic cultural commissioning programmes. You will also have management responsibility for a new post of Cultural Development Officer.

You will be responsible for providing leadership, financial and strategic direction including day to day management of their cultural grants schemes and commissioning programme. It is essential that you have the ability to work effectively with internal and a range of external partners to deliver the Council’s priorities.

They are looking for someone who has the skills, experience, energy and creativity to deliver the highest cultural services to their residents across Wakefield district.
