Creatives! Be part of the Virtual Food and Drink Festival

Urgent action needed!

Calling all Kirklees creatives! Do you want to be part of the Virtual Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival?

Huddersfield Live are working with Kirklees Council to bring a ‘Virtual Food & Drink Festival’ to everyone this year. As well as showcasing ‘The Best Kirklees Has To Offer’ by way of restaurants, bars, independent retailers and producers, we would love to shout about the fabulous people in the creative sector who bring smiles to faces and a little joy into our lives. Kirklees has many fantastic individuals, groups and organisations and this is a great opportunity to help raise awareness about you and what you do.

As with the ‘Live’ Food & Drink Festival, we will have a fabulous programme of entertainment, which is where we need you. If you are locally based, with a passion to entertain we would love some content from you, anything from:
• Your own promotional video content
• Pre-recorded You Tube videos
• Pre-recorded content from your back catalogue
• Promotion of something new you are doing
• Still pictures / promotional images
• Perhaps a ‘Hello to everyone’ message

These can be sent directly to us along with any promotional pictures or descriptions about what you or the organisation is all about.

Please go to the website below and complete the online form providing as much information as possible and sending the content which can be anything from 2 mins – 20 mins in length promoting what you do, have done or indeed are planning to do. We will be scheduling content on our website and also using some as fillers during the weekend on our social media platforms. Therefore the more you send us the better!

Are you are a band / musician / performer and would like the opportunity to make a ‘live’ recording to be included in the Festival?…. if so, we have space, electric and gazebo at the back of The Star Inn, Folly Hall, Lockwood where you can safely perform and film a live recording. Feel free to bring banners or props to enable you to visually promote who you are. This space can be used when the pub is not open to the public and is therefore safe with social distancing being maintained.
