FREELANCE OPPORTUNITY: CREATIVE PROGRAMME PRODUCER

Wakefield Council seeks a freelance consultant/producer for supporting the programme development for our bid to become UK City of Culture 2025.

In July 2021, Wakefield District formally submitted an Expression of Interest to become the UK City of Culture 2025. We are now looking for a Creative Programmes Development consultant to actively engage with stakeholders from across the public, private, community and cultural sector to support the development of an ambitious cultural programme which builds on the enthusiasm and commitment of local people to celebrate our culture, our place and our connectivity with the world.

They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced freelancer to drive the development of a detailed programme as part of the next stage of Wakefield’s UK City of Culture bid.
