Creative Producer (Casual), Leeds City Council
Leeds City Council are looking to recruit members of staff to join their pool of Creative Producers for the Arts, Venues and Events team.
The post would involve designing, co-ordinating and event managing specific events for the Arts, Venues and Events team, including for Light Night Leeds. The role will include liaising with artists, production management staff, volunteers and the public to devise, promote and deliver events.
This will include organising creative participatory events for the public to take part in. The Creative Producer will also manage small budgets and promote events by creating content for press releases, event websites and social media channels.
Events that currently need a Creative Producer include Light Night Leeds (Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October), hours would be 2 days a week from mid May – mid October, but would be full time the week of 7th October, including the evenings of 10thand 11th October. This would be to work on the launch parade, participatory workshops and the street entertainment programme for the event.
Please note, they are recruiting for a pool of staff, being offered a place on the pool following application and interview does not automatically guarantee an offer of a role working on an event.
This role is funded by Arts Council England and we are looking to support a producer early in their career. The role will include some evening and weekend work.
