Creative industries are now worth £92 billion annually to the UK

New government statistics show that the creative industries are now worth £92 billion to the UK economy. Government data released last Wednesday demonstrates that the creative industries sector continues to outstrip others in terms of growth. The creative industries grew at more than double the speed of the wider economy in the period 2015-2016, at a rate of 7.6% compared to 3.5%.
