Creative Health in Yorkshire and Humber Event
The Creative Health inquiry report from the All Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing is the most significant review of how the arts support health and wellbeing ever conducted in the UK. Contained within it are 10 recommendations aimed at changing the culture and health landscape and realising the full potential of this work.
At the Creative Health in Yorkshire and Humber event you will hear from the Rt. Hon. Lord Alan Howarth and other speakers about the next phase of work, in response to the report, and to discuss what we can all do to make culture and health in Yorkshire and Humber as unique and dynamic as the place itself.
The event is hosted by the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and further details about speakers, times, locations and a clickable link to book can be found on the event flyer here - www.creativekirklees.com/networks/creative-kirklees/documents/creative-health-event.pdf.
This event is aimed at anyone working in the culture, health, care, local government and academic fields who has an interest in how the collaborative promise of these sectors can be directed and harnessed to achieve health, wellbeing and flourishing for the population of Yorkshire and Humber and beyond.
