Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme for support of Video Games

The 2016 Call for Support for the Development of European Video Games under the MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe is now open.

European video game production companies which have been legally constituted for at least 12 months are eligible to apply.

Support is available for the development phase of narrative storytelling video games, regardless of platform or expected distribution method. The video game must be intended for commercial exploitation.

A budget of €2.6 million is available. Awards will be for between €10,000 and €150,000 for concept and project development activities that lead to a playable prototype or trial version. Awards will not exceed 50% of total eligible costs.

The deadline for submissions is 3 March 2016 (noon Brussels time).
