Comoodle Online Resource Sharing Platform Tender 2015-16

Market Engagement Event

Time: 9.30am – 12pm (Registration from 9am, time for questions up to 1.30pm)

Kirklees Council intends to commission a software developer or developers in consortium, to design and deliver an online resource sharing platform as part of the Comoodle project.

Comoodle aims to make Council assets (for example vehicles, sports equipment, meeting spaces and staff skills) available to local community groups on a lending basis. An online platform is required which will enable the Council and other local lenders to publicise assets and allow groups to discover and borrow those assets. Whilst the platform will be maintained by the Council it will be designed with a view to minimising manual administration.

A Market Engagement Event is planned to take place on Monday 7th December 2015. This event is for developers who would like to consult on the specification of the Comoodle Online Resource Sharing Platform Tender, which will be implemented in 2016.

The event will include:
- Background to the Comoodle project and what has been achieved so far
- General requirements of the platform
- Platform models currently being explored
- Question and Answer session
