Children's Ballet Outreach Artist (Freelance), Northern Ballet

Northern Ballet is a powerhouse for inventive dance, creating and touring narrative dance at various scales nationally and internationally.

They are looking for a passionate, inspiring, and creative Outreach Artist to work in their exemplary Learning Team. Representing a high-quality ballet company, you will deliver creative dance workshops inspired by our Children’s production,Pinocchio across the UK. This role is integral to delivering their engagement programme and involves working with children, with and without additional needs in schools, theatres and community settings, making the work of Northern Ballet accessible to all.

This is a short-term, freelance contract from 4 January – 25 March 2021.

The Learning team work across a broad range of settings, delivering activity to engage and inspire people about dance. The work is fast-paced and involves regular travel and shifting working hours. You will be supported by a professional team of experienced managers and artists. To be able to hit the ground running and represent the company, you will be a lively and dynamic team player with a desire to share your love of dance.

Fee: £4,800 (for 12 weeks, full time, equivalent £400 per week) Petrol, parking, accommodation, and per diems will be paid in addition to the fee.
