Chief Executive - Jazz North

Jazz North is looking for an inspiring, experienced, and ambitious leader with the vision to take up the role of Chief Executive and lead the next stage of the organisation's growth.

Established in 2012 with the goal of building a strong, sustainable, and diverse jazz sector in the north of England by working in partnership, Jazz North helps artists, builds partnerships and creates networks, and inspires children and young people via a pioneering programme of events and support.

Ideally with an established profile within the music sector, and skills relevant to leading an Arts Council-funded Sector Support Organisation, Jazz North is seeking an exceptional individual for this 3-4 days a week role, to build upon its strong foundations, strengthen its stakeholder relationships, achieve greater awareness of its services, and develop its capabilities and outputs.

Jazz North has a small, dedicated team of remote-working staff, and a recently expanded board of trustees that encompasses a diverse range of talents, experience, and backgrounds. Jazz North is a founding member of Black Lives in Music, and applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, and disabled candidates are particularly welcome.
