Cafuné will be performing live at Vinyl Tap

Beginning in the murky depths of the British autumn 5 musicians came together with the prior organised intent of playing The Smiths' 'There is a Light That Never Goes Out'. From the first note the song came together and Cafuné was born (although at the time not called by that name). At the same practise the majority of what would be their first own song was written and a bond was formed. Over the coming weeks practising was relentless, a setlist was formed and on the 8th October the name 'Cafuné' devised, an untranslatable Portuguese term meaning running your fingers through a lover's hair. It was Halloween 2013 that the first gig was played and since then the music hasn't stopped.
