Beyond Brontë’s is open for application!

Beyond Brontë’s is an exciting new programme designed to break down the barriers that can prevent young people from entering the screen industries. Whether your passion is make-up, set design, accountancy, editing or research; if you are aged 18-24, live in Yorkshire and can demonstrate commitment to the screen industries, this could be for you!

The programme aims to address the issue of the screen industries being one of the least diverse sectors in the UK by supporting young people to have the skills, confidence and connections to succeed in the screen industries. ‘Beyond Brontë’s’ aims to provide some of the following support:

- Trusted and reliable sector careers information service,
- Training and work experience package, including internships and works with the private sector,
- One to one support by experienced professionals,
- Workshops, speakers and coaches to inspire confidence and build in-demand skills,
- And many more!

To be eligible you need to be; 18-24, living in Leeds City Region (Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Kirklees, Calderdale, Selby, Craven, Harrogate, York and Barnsley) and interested in a career in film or television then APPLY! You will need to complete a google application form and upload a 2 minute film of yourself.
