Arts Council England Announces New £5m Jubilee Fund
Funding for voluntary and community organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations taking place in June 2022.
Administered by UK Community Foundations, the new £5 million fund will empower community organisations to work collaboratively with artists and cultural organisations in a way they might not have before, with the best applications expected to be those demonstrating a strong partnership within the creative and cultural sector.
Grants in the range of £750 to £10,000 will be available for creative projects which reflect the interests and ideas of local communities across England.
Commenting on the new fund, Chief Executive at Arts Council England’s Chief Executive, Darren Henley said:
“We’re giving people across the country the chance to come together to experience the joy of culture and creativity in celebration of this historic milestone.”
Guidance notes will be available on the UK Community Foundation website in early December.
The application window is expected to run from January 2022 until 28 February 2022.
