Artist Opportunity to be part of public plan for Kirklees

Kirklees is delighted to create an opportunity for an Artist(s) to help us develop and animate a public art plan for the district. The residency will involve engagement with communities, spaces and places. We want to bring an artist into the process of thinking about place making and to creatively explore the value of arts and culture as a way to engage people and communities in the future ambition of places.

Kirklees is seeking a highly imaginative Artist(s) who can bring their own creative approach that reflects both their own interests and those of the community. Artist(s) will be working with residents, business, planners, regeneration teams and partner organisations and through the commissioning process may focus on for example greenways, transport, urban or rural places.
