Actors and Facilitators wanted, Effectus Theatre Company

Effectus Theatre Company are casting for their 2015/16 season with opportunities throughout the year to join thei team of actors and facilitators.

They want experienced Children’s Theatre performers to tour with their schools shows “Don’t pack up your troubles”, “UGLY” and “Aladdin”, Plus their new musical for children “Dream Makers Inc”. You must have a full, clean driving license and CRB/DBS (Or be willing to undergo a check) due to the nature of this job.

What they’re looking for?

You will need to love performing, working with children and have an interest in education! A good general level of fitness, great comedy skills and a good standard of singing are also vital. They are a touring company, so you need to be prepared for the inevitable rigors of touring; being away from home, spending lots of time with the same faces, early starts, get-ins, get-outs, lifting and carrying.

Salary: £270 per working week, rising to £280 on your third tour. Accommodation and travel will be provided and paid for throughout your contract.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 27th August, group auditions will be held in Leeds and London at the beginning of September, if you are successful in the first round you will be invited back in the afternoon for an individual audition. All successful candidates must attend a training day at the base in North Lincolnshire before becoming eligible for a tour.
