North Ridge Community School showcase their art at Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery
Students from North Ridge Community School are showcasing their creativity at Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery in a celebration of the importance of art in the school.
The latest exhibition to open in the Community Gallery at Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery features a range of art activities explored by the children and young people over the past year including screen printing, vacuum forming, painting and collage, and artworks including self-portraits, carnival masks and animals.
The high standard of work on display is reflected by the fact that North Ridge School achieved the Artsmark Gold in December 2017.
Art and Design teacher Jean Oxley said: “We’re very happy about achieving Artsmark Gold again, and would like to thank all of the parents who have supported us with the arts, the children and young people who always give their best and really enjoy their art, and the staff who have supported them for all of their hard work.”
The exhibition will run until 10th June.
