Get Doncaster Dancing

If you are a local dance practitioner you may want to attend 'Get Doncaster Dancing'. An event bringing the dance and health sectors
together to build partnerships and contribute to the Get Doncaster Dancing strategy.

The meeting will take place on Monday 4th March 4.00-5.30 pm at CAST, Doncaster

Dance can be a highly effective way of engaging all ages in physical activity to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. The event will present evidence on this and outline models and approaches to working with dance to improve health and wellbeing.

Doncaster Council has commissioned One Dance UK, the national dance sector support organisation, to produce Get Doncaster Dancing with local partners to increase physical activity in the population across the life course. This event will serve as a way of consulting dance professionals on the strategy.
