DONCASTER CULTURE PROGRAMME
Doncaster has a recent track record of growth and emerging excellence in arts and cultural programming.

A borough wide, cultural strategic partnership is providing a platform for growth and investment in the sector to develop Doncaster as a location of national and international significance.

By 2020, the cultural portfolio of Doncaster will include a new Central Library, Archives, Museum and Art Gallery plus a new University Technical College.

Capitalising on the Town’s vibrant visual arts scene, folk, jazz and other wide-ranging talent and artist-led movements, alongside established Arts Council England National Portfolio organisations, Doncaster’s 2020 programme will be the catalyst for new and further growth.

To achieve the ambitious plan we are seeking two outstanding individuals to form and lead a small team to develop and grow the cultural capital of Doncaster.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Executive Director you will be responsible for the delivery of a successful cultural programme in Doncaster, in 2020. You will secure significant inward investment from funders, trusts and foundations, leading to local regeneration of high impact through arts, culture and creativity.

ABOUT YOU
You are a high-level networker who can navigate the complexities of central government and influence major trusts, funders and foundations. Substantial experience of the cultural and creative sector with sound project and management skills.
