Print Apprenticeship Vacancy - Dawlish

Established for over 20 years, Swiftprint SW are experienced in Design, Print, Sign Writing and Garment Printing. They currently require a Print Production Apprentice to join their busy sign writing and printed media company based in Dawlish. The apprentice will work full-time for the company in the sign writing area of the business, preparing client work for print and assisting in the delivery of client work on site.
In addition, the apprentice will work towards a Print Production Apprenticeship with Plymouth College of Art. This will be delivered via onsite assessments and monthly attendance at taught sessions at Plymouth College of Art. Successful candidates will be practical, with a keen eye for detail and an appreciation of the importance of quality and consistency. You will be working with design software and therefore existing knowledge of Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator or similar software would be beneficial.
As you will be working with machinery, an understanding of the need for safe working practices is essential. You will work closely with the designer and a team of staff and as such it is essential that you have excellent team working and communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain print industry knowledge and experience, and an industry recognised qualification.
