Job Description
The Red Letter Gown studio in Buckfastleigh, designs and produces made-to-measure bridal wear, mother of the bride outfits, ball gowns and evening wear, along with theatrical costumes. This is an apprenticeship opportunity with on the job training. Whilst in training you will undertake an Apprenticeship in Fashion and Textiles with Plymouth College of Art.
Red Letter Gowns are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in textiles and design. You will learn about the designing and construction of a varied range of garments with a local design company. The applicant would be ideally creative, outgoing, show initiative and to portfolio of work would be an advantage.

Please Note - Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for 19 to 24 year olds is part funded, with employers expected to make a contribution. Funding for apprentices aged 25 is very limited and employers are expected to make a part or full contribution.
