Job opportunity - Arts Outreach & Activity Officer
Creative Arts Hub is seeking to appoint an Arts Outreach / Activity Officer to support and enhance the delivery of the Hub’s activity and events programme. The appointed person will prepare and deliver arts activity sessions; and will instigate, develop and lead outreach activities at a range of venues. They will assist in the preparation of reports and collection of information/feedback which will contribute to applications for future project funding.
We are looking to appoint a person with previous experience of working with all age ranges, especially children and young people, in a variety of settings. The working pattern is flexible, and will be determined largely by the Creative Arts Hub event calendar, but also through conversation with the Hub’s small team of dedicated staff & volunteers – with a possibility that the hours can be worked around existing commitments.
This is a one-year fixed term post, with continuation of the post subject to additional funding being sourced. The rate of pay is £10 per hour, for 15 hrs per week. The post is supported by Kirklees Council’s Creative Partners Investment Programme.
