Arts Award Explore - 6 week course

This award is an Entry Level 3 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). It is the perfect stepping stone from our introductory award, Arts Award Discover, to the Level 1 qualification, Bronze Arts Award.

Anyone aged up to 25 can take part in Arts Award. Arts Award Explore is designed for ages 7 plus.

Young people collect their arts experiences in an Explore arts log as they go along, recording what they find and enjoy.

Gain your certificate by booking this 6-week block of afternoon sessions, each running from 1pm to 3pm on consecutive Saturdays. Children will have to attend at least five of the six sessions to gain their award (though ideally they'll come to them all).

Participants will:
•Take part in a range of arts activities
•Learn about artists and the work they create
•Learn about arts organisations
•Visit an exhibition
•Work on a larger, self-led arts project
•Reflect on and share the work that they have undertaken as part of the Award
