Hertford Art Trail

Now in its third year, the 2016 art trail features 18 artists all exhibiting work across the town centre.

The public can view the pop up exhibitions free of charge and an array of medium will be on display from textiles to ceramics, oil on canvas to screen prints.

The art trail will be launched by an exhibition on Friday 8th April featuring the work of all the artists in the magnificent Castle's Downshire Suite. During the evening, hosted by the Mayor, visitors will be able to meet the artists in person and fine out more about the inspiration behind their work. Tickets are £5 and including a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. 50% of the proceeds from the evening will go to the Mayor of Hertford's charity, The British Heart Foundation.

Venue opening times will vary and selected artists will be offering workshops/demonstrations on site.
